Formerly known as Shuozhou Anpeak Kaolin Co.,Ltd., Anpeak Specialty Minerals Co.,Ltd. has undergone two acquisitions by Global 500: Engelhard Corporation (USA) and BASF(Germany) since 2002. In April, 2008, local management acquired 100% shareholding of BASF Mineral Products (Shanxi) Co.,Ltd through MBO program .Thanks to continuous capital investment, technology transfer, capacity expansion and market promotion by its foreign shareholders in the past, Anpeak has now become one of the market-leaders in China kaolin and specialty chemicals industries. Over the past years, Anpeak has witnessed its legendary growth. With registered capital RMB 107,600,000, Anpeak has 137 employees and 20 of them are technicians. The company has been ISO 9001:2008 certified. Anpeak owns registered trademark of “Anpeak”, which was awarded “Shanxi Province Famous Trademark” by Shanxi Province Industrial and Commerce Administration in 2009. In 2011 Anpeak was awarded one of “Top 100 Potentially Strong Enterprises in Shanxi Province” by Shanxi Province Economic and Information Technology Committee and “Circular Economy Pilot Enterprises in Shanxi Province” (second round) by Shanxi Province Promotion of Circular Economy and Resource-saving Working Committee. It is now a “Benchmarking Enterprise of Comprehensive Transformation and Reform in Shanxi Province”. In 2009, Anpeak plant was relocated to Beiping Circular Economy Park in Pinglu District in order to meet the requirement of urban planning and comprehensive utilization of resources. Taking the opportunity of relocation, Anpeak expanded its capacity to 5K TPA and the production line went on stream in 2009. In 2011, Anpeak constructed another production line with capacity of 7K TPA specialty chemicals in order to meet market requirement. The line started operation in October, 2012.
